Rowers on the Seine x Monet
Excellent
L'œuvre en bref
This oil painting is a tribute to rowing races and the city of Paris. Adopting Claude Monet's impressionist technique, the painting uses touches of colour and light to evoke movement and the summer atmosphere. A nod to the artist, who moved to a house in Argenteuil, near the Seine, in 1971.
