The Starry Night - Vincent Van Gogh
Vincent Van Gogh has a great interest in night skies. The artist painted his Starry Night in June 1889. This landscape, dotted with stars and conducive to a soft and serene atmosphere, actually reveals a deep sense of disarray, as evidenced by the tumult of the eventful night he would have painted from his cell in the psychiatric hospital of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The impressionnist work is similar to Starry night over the Rhône.
